Meet our marketing coordinator, Nick. Based in Revelstoke BC, Nick is a passionate road and gravel cyclist who can often be seen riding and training around town at any chance he gets. While he gets his competitive fix racing gravel around the various events in the interior of BC and Alberta, he is also a passionate member of the cycling community in Revelstoke. Serving on the board of the Revelstoke Cycling Association as director of Road, Gravel and Urban Development, trying to help drive both cycling infrastructure development and participation in his small town. Garmin Edge 540 – “ I'm a bit of a data nerd, so tied in with my Quarq power meter, this is the combo that I like to use.” Travelling around the Interior and exploring new roads, the Garmin’s safety features, such as livetrack, are also a key feature to allow piece of mind by sending live location so others can know where he is  at all times. Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RC – While gravel continues to evolve and debates about which tire is best are constant, sometimes simplicity is the best answer. With consistent, fast rolling tread through the middle and bigger lugs on the side, using a consistent tire that can adapt to most surfaces keeps things simple, meaning less time for tinkering and more time riding. 

Tannus Armour Gravel – Riding around Revelstoke means riding a lot of very quiet and remote Forest Service Roads. One bad experience in the rain as far from the car as possible with a flat and dented rim stands out as an experience not to be repeated.
